Malaria, Tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS are some of the endemic diseases that plague many in the nation of Congo Brazzaville.

With an estimated population of over 5 million people and less than 2 health workers to over 10,000 people, many of its citizens are in need of adequate medical attention.

Dr. Aurore Ibovi, a VMC team leader works as a general physician in the busy city of Brazzaville where over 700,000 people reside. In spite of her busy schedule as a trained medical doctor , driven by her in Christ and  her  passion for   giving more of her people access to quality health care , she signed up as a volunteer with the Volunteer Medical Corps and has since been vitally involved in sharing the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through numerous community clinics which she organizes frequently  with the support of fellow volunteer physicians, dentists, eye care specialists and nurses.

We celebrate her and her team for impacting hundreds of people and improving the quality of their lives to the glory of God.
